Bottleshock at the Reunion
Miss out on the fall Homecoming event? If so, the Young Alumni Reunion offers another chance at Triton camaraderie. And one of the highlights of the weekend will be the screening of the popular independent film Bottle Shock, starring Alan Rickman and Bill Pullman, on Saturday, February 21. The film’s producers, UC San Diego alumni Robert Baizer, ’86, and Diane Diane Jacobs, ’86, who are Chancellor’s Associates members, will serve as guest speakers.

As a policy advisor to the director of the California ­Department of Water Resources, she focuses on the impact of climate change on the state’s water. Currently, she is examining possible solutions for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, the hub of California’s water system, which has been hit hard by the drought....
